The railway museum of Dinan is supported by the association Amis du Rail Dinannais, which regroups real railway passionates and
railways model making amateur. It is open to the public since 1991 and it extends on a 500m2 superficy, distributed in 4 big rooms, with one equipped for the video projection. The museum employs 2 seasonal during summertime. It currently welcomes 5000 visitors in a year, from all nationalities.

The railway museum was also interested in the railways history around Dinan and notably to the study of the Lison-Lamballe connection.
